Vienna St Patrick’s Day Parade 2025

When: Sat 15 March 2025 11:00 AM – 13:15 PM CET

Where: Schottenkirche, Wien, 1010

The Vienna Pipes and Drums bagpipe band will be playing again as part of the annual Vienna St. Patrick’s Day parade. This year the parade will take place on Saturday, 15 March 2025.

Schedule:

  • 11:00 – 12:00 Mass at the Schottenkirche.
  • 11:30 – 12:00: Gathering in front of Schottenkirche/corner of Freyung.
  • 12:00 – 12:15: parade starts.
  • Route: Schottenstift/Freyung – Herrengasse – Michaelerplatz – Schauflergasse – Ballhausplatz – Löwelstraße – Josef Meinrad-Platz (Burgtheater).
  • 13:00-13:15: approximate finishing time. The parade should reach the Burgtheater at about 13:00, where there will be closing remarks by Ambassador Cullinane and a few tunes by the pipe band. A great chance to see the band playing through the streets of Vienna city centre!
